For over twenty years Kathryn (Kit) McGill has been helping families, businesses, and nonprofit organizations to chart their philanthropic values and impact. An independent philanthropy consultant,
she delivers tailored meetings and programs to facilitate philanthropic topics and solutions-- often collaborating with other professional advisors to meet the complex planning or investment goals of the individual or family enterprise.
Through her former tenure with U.S. Trust and New York Life, she brings a complex knowledge of wealth and estate planning for affluent families. And, as a respected nonprofit director, she has hands-on experience with nonprofit management and board governance, comprehensive charitable gifting techniques, grant writing/reporting/evaluation, and endowment building for multiple North Texas organizations including Jesuit Dallas Museum, The Dallas Foundation, NPower and Communities Foundation of Texas.
Actively engaged in her community, Kathryn currently serves as a City Council-appointed board member to the McKinney Community Development Corporation and on as a regional board advisor to Out Teach. Over the past two decades she has contributed leadership and service to the North Texas CAP® Study Group Program, and numerous nonprofit organizations.
Kathryn holds a BA in French from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®), designation from The American College of Financial Services, Bryn Mawr, PA. She resides in McKinney, Texas and enjoys working with entrepreneurs and families throughout the U.S.
